Envisioned by the building designer as “a shelter projecting a morphed sea creature beached on the shore”, Sea Change is a contemporary home that celebrates its location tucked into the waterfront landscape. As construction began, we were tasked with planning the interiors to fit within an organic building shape while still meeting the needs of the clients - including the ability to age in place. Interior elements were consciously developed to either serve as a focal point or to assume a quiet supporting role. The resulting interiors are functional and comfortable, complementing the home’s architecture and celebrating the views beyond.
